How to get along with other kids
This is a 5 session class for Kids between 6 and 8 years old.
Your child will both learn and practice:
- How to make friends & identify what they do to lose friends.
- Kids will learn simple, easy to use, rules that parents can continue to help Kids with after.
- We use story telling, inquiry, role-play, puppets, song, movement, and ‘practice play’ to teach and practice 5 important friendship skills.
- ‘Practice play’ is intentionally using play to practice skills and provide ‘teachable moments’ to intervene & reinforce concepts taught, in real-life situations.
- Kids will learn & practice how to ‘use their words to solve problems’ while building empathy for others.
- Parents will also get a series of simple, easy to use ‘rules’ to help kids continue to practice.
